I was looking for apps and ran across this blog.
Skim down to the responses....there's a long one that addresses the issues this guy has with teaching from an unannotated Kindle text. Good to see future bumps and possible solutions before we get there.
I haven't read yet, but I will. I had a really hard time find any articles or blogs about using the Fire in the classroom. Most are about the iPad. I am skeeeered. I envision turning all desks to face back of room, so I can monitor the screens...like a lab. boo.
ReplyDeleteI just read this and found it very helpful. I liked the comment/suggestions from Kevin T. Keith in the comment section. We will need those tips I think! I have a Kindle Fire and use it for reading, but I have no idea how to do anything with annotations to webpages, blah, blah, blah. Kindle Fire in the classroom means a lot more work for us-which is fine and the way it is, but is the benefit to the kids greater? I don't know.
